BWARE Health & Safety Declaration Process

Replacing the previous Site Safe Agreement with a Health & Safety Declaration

The Health & Safety Declaration process is designed to simplify and strengthen the sign-off and communication of Site-Specific Safety Plans. This new process replaces the previous Site Safe Agreement.

What is the H&S Declaration?

The H&S Declaration is a summary document that captures the key elements of the Site-Specific Safety Plan. It confirms that all relevant parties have received, reviewed, and agreed to the health and safety methods outlined for the workplace.

How the New Process Works

When generating a Site-Specific Safety Plan within the Workplace Module, users can now:

(1) Send to Client for Approval

( 2 ) Send to Workers via Signatures Required

( 3 ) Send to Contractors for Agreement

( 4 ) Sign Off Before Sending

To send the Health & Safety Declaration for approval or agreement, click the Save & Send button located at the bottom of the sign-off section. The declaration will be automatically emailed to the addresses associated with the selected parties.
The email will include a PDF attachment of the declaration with an electronic signature block to enable sign-off. Clients and Contractors/Sub-contractors are required to save the signed document and email it back to the Workplace Representative listed in the Key Contacts section of the Site-Specific Safety Plan Summary.
